Fund Raising

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends,

Stockton Chinese Baptist Church has been established for over 23 years. Thanks to God’s blessings and guidance, we continue to grow in size and number.

Lately God gave us a vision to build a Multi-purpose structure to accommodate more space for activity rooms, classrooms and basketball court. In order to actualize such a vision, basing on the accumulated building fund of about $290,000, we are stipulated to raise another $710,000. Accordingly, we are implementing different fund raising activities to accomplish such goal.

One of the plans we have is to operate a Rummage Sale. We would like to encourage those who are concerned and interested to search into your closets, storage area or garage for things that you do not need and generously donate them to us; we plan to sell them over the internet or in different sale events.

Irrespective of how much we could raise, our goal is to provide an opportunity for all our members and friends to get involved into our fund-raising effort; especially to demonstrate our care for God’s Kingdom with love and unity.

親愛的弟兄姊妹和朋友:

士德頓華人浸信會已在本埠立會二十三年，蒙神保守及帶領，信主人數日增。神給我們一個異象，希望能在教會本址的空地上動工興建多用途設備，內設有活動室﹑課室和籃球運動場等多項設施。

為了更好地進行此項工程，我們將在已籌得的二十九萬元的基礎上，需再多籌七十一萬元的建築經費。為此，我們已有多項不同種類的籌款活動；另外，我們將增加一項既可籌款，亦可幫助各位清理家裏額外剩餘物資的活動，呼籲弟兄姊妹及朋友將家裏少用或不用的物品捐贈，以包裝完整及備有單據為首選，我們將放在網絡上拍賣或攤位方式售賣，賣物之款項將全數撥付建堂之用。

無論此項活動所籌得的款項多少，我們的目的是能讓所有關心和支持士德頓華人浸信會的弟兄姊妹及朋友都有份參與此項籌款活動，興建多用途大樓也有您們的參與，讓各人的愛心都在此一活動中融匯在一起！
